Karen’s Times in the Maritime

OK Rob has pressured me into writing the blog tonight so here it goes. 

Met my cousin Marilyn for coffee this morning before leaving Halifax. She’s here for a bike tour. We had a nice visit with coffee and a cinnamon bun  

We arrived into PEI with a 45 minute wait at the entry check point. Here we had to prove our vaccinations and as a precaution still had to get a nose swab.  We’re staying at a lovely bed and breakfast called the Lookout Inn. It’s centrally located in PEI for easy access to all points. 

We ended our day with an outstanding meal at the Blue Mussel Cafe. Mussels and scallops that melted in your mouth as well as a cinnamon bread pudding. Delish. 

We also had a visit from a very special person. I am happy she (Mom) is watching over us.
